Lead glass

       Lead glass is also known as medical X-ray radiation proof lead glass plate in the medical field. Lead glass is mainly divided into domestic lead glass and imported lead glass. It is mainly used for diagnostic X-ray room, CT, ect, pet, CT-PET room, X-ray photography protection room, observation window on protective screen of protective door, and operation protection screen for nuclear medicine.        The main commonly used thickness specifications of lead glass are 5mm, 10mm, 15mm and 20mm. The main production bases are mainly concentrated in North and central China, and there are three main production bases in China.
       Lead glass has many advantages, such as: strong and durable, mechanical properties and thermal properties are roughly the same as propylene resin, impact resistance is also greatly superior. Easy processing, can be cut, cut, grinding, perforation and other mechanical processing and bonding, lamination processing. The dark brown transparent plate with high transparency and beautiful appearance can be made into large-size transparent shielding plate which can not be realized by lead glass.
       Lead glass is a brittle material with a large proportion. It must be handled with care when moving. During installation, the surrounding of glass must be closely matched with the wall protective material to prevent radiation leakage at the joint. The surface of lead glass is more easily scratched than that of ordinary glass and should be handled carefully. Due to rich lead and barium, lead glass is easy to be polluted by acid and alkali, so it is not easy to install or store in acid gas or humid environment.
